I have been fortunate to be invited, participate in, and win several awards at art shows across the country, such as the Art of the Animal Kingdom at The Bennington Center for the Arts in Vermont. I was also fortunate enough to be commissioned to sculpt Barbara Walters’ dog Cha Cha and present it to her on the ABC television show The View. These events have been flattering and educational, yet pale in comparison to seeing someone truly enjoy one of my sculptures. It is my intention to bring anatomical and behavioral accuracy together in an artistic presentation. Done properly the sculpture should accurately depict the subject, while allowing the viewer to glean their own interpretation of the story being told.
