John is a traditionalist in the materials he uses – wood and oils – but innovative in form, shape and colors.  After three decades creating birds for competition and commission, John has moved into the realm of avian sculpture.  John hand carves his pieces from choice woods, then meticulously paints each carving with the hightest quality artist’s oils.
