I do think that fish of all species tend to be ghost-like, and that’s part of their attraction. They’re a lure for me.

Peter Thompson was trained at the Boston Museum School of the Fine Arts. Major commissions include work for the New England Aquarium in Boston and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Salmon River Fish Hatchery. Published works include Thompson’s Guide to Freshwater Fishes (1984) and Freshwater Game Fish of North America – An Illustrated Guide (2009).

Thompson shares, “I do think that fish of all species tend to be ghost-like, and that’s part of their attraction. They’re a lure for me, and I think that that’s been some of what has attracted humans to them throughout history.”
