“A love for the natural world is a gift I received at a very young age…. and so it is still. My life has been a journey to know, understand and appreciate, as individuals, the animals that share our world. The drive beind my art is not so much to paint how an animal looks, but rather to capture who they are in that fleeting moment. I paint them to know them and to explore what it is to be them, in essence. With line and color, it is their voices that I am trying to find and trying to hear. I hope my paintings can be a celebration of all life.”
